Photo Album
Here are a few photos from our current ministry in Uganda. This will give you
some insight into the rather challenging conditions under which we teach and in
which our students learn.
SALT Hoima is a brand
new SALT School. Seventy Seven (77) pastors, assistant pastors, evangelists,
Bible Teachers and other leaders gathered for this first equipping event. Their
enthusiasm and commitment to the learning process is amazing. How would you be
sitting for 7 hours a day for 5 days on a simple bench seat with no back
support. Note the 'air conditioning' (gaps between the boards which form the
side of the church building.)
SALT Hoima is being
conducted in the Hoima Redeemed of the Lord Evangelistic Church building. It is
a very simple structure of planks and galvanized iron. There are no windows and
only two doors. All ventilation comes through the gaps between the planks. But
their enthusiasm is not diminished by the tough conditions.
Graduation of SALT Mukono on 23 May 2008

The Graduation of SALT Mukono on Friday 23 May 2008 was a very significant
occasion for these students. Each of the graduands was awarded the Diploma in
Christian Leadership, a very significant achievement for these men and women.
The diploma was jointly awarded by the Baptist Union of Uganda in association
with LttN Ministries Inc. The non gowned students did not complete the course
but were awarded 'Acknowledgement of Attendance' certificates noting the % of
the course they attended (min of 50%). They have opportunity to transfer their
credits to future SALT Schools in order to complete their diploma.
