Financial Policy of LttN Ministries Incorporated

LttN Ministries Inc is a Faith Missionary Enterprise and rests in total dependence upon God for all supply and provision.

1.      Operational Promises: 2 Corinthians 9: 8-11.

“And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. As it is written: "He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor; his righteousness endures forever." Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.”

2.      Operational Principles:

·         We believe God is true to His promises and will supply all our needs with abundance and favor.

·         We will operate and plan in the expectation of abundant provision

·         We with not allow a ‘poverty mentality’ to govern our decisions.

·         We will faithfully steward the resources God supplies.

3.      From the outset of this ministry, we recognize that the supply our financial needs are, humanly speaking, improbable. Notwithstanding, we will set our budget with responsibility and integrity always acknowledging our total dependence upon the promises and provision of God.

4.      In promoting the ministry to individuals, groups or churches, we will focus upon:

·           The vision and challenge God has set before us

·           The needs of current and emerging leaders

·           The faithfulness of God in Christ

Accordingly the needs of the ministry will only be shared in the most gentle of terms and with those who demonstrate an interest in the ministry.

5.      A tithe (10%) of all income received by the ministry will be set apart in a Missionary Fund and directed to missionary enterprise in the Developing World.

6.      Operational Procedures:

·         All income received by LttN Ministries Inc will be receipted, banked and acknowledged.

·         The President and Vice President will make Day to day operational decisions in line with the budget. Extra budgetary expenditure will be referred to the Executive and ratified by the next committee meeting.

·         Credit facilities (Credit cards, etc.) will only be used when we know that the funds are available to meet the expense when the account falls due. We will pay all accounts by the due date.

7.      LttN Ministries will seek affiliation with a Christian Financial Integrity group.

8.      The President and Vice President will be paid a salary and allowances based upon the appropriate package as recommended from time to time by the Baptist Churches of NSW plus an increment in recognition of seniority and experience. The salary may be packaged in such a way that adheres to the taxation law and responsible citizenship.

9.      LttN Ministries will seek to recruit a team of supporters (to be known as Ministry Partners) who are committed to praying for and financially supporting the ministry. We will also seek partner churches to recognize LttN as part of their missionary outreach and contribute toward the financial base.
